Summer 2006 free prepaid Gas Cards
    $100, $75, $50 or $25 Prepaid Petro Canada Gas cards to help beat the high price of gas
    Summer 2006 high season week long rentals only
    If combined with other discounts, max of $25
    $100 for 3 bedroom cottages (Shangri La & Chalet)
    $75 for 2 bedroom cottages (Maples, High Noon and Island View with bunky)
    $50 for 1 bedroom cottages (Sunset and Island View without bunky)
    Given out after start of rental

For early confirmed bookings:
    High Season     10% reduction if booking confirmed by end of February.
                                 5% reduction if booking confirmed by end of March.
    All Other             10% reduction if booking confirmed 90 days in advance.
                                 5% reduction if booking confirmed 60 days in advance.

3 for 2 Special:
    Enjoy 3 weekday nights at the same cost as a weekend (2 nights).
    weekend (2 nights).

CARP & Seniors Special:
    During Spring, Fall and Off/Winter Season, 10% discount and 4 weekday nights for the same
    price as a weekend. Late Checkout / Extra Night Special cannot be combined with the 4 night special.

Late Checkout / Extra Night Special - At no extra cost:
    For weekend and weekday bookings only, when possible,
    an extra night added to your booking at no extra cost. See examples below.

Honeymooners:
    If you are staying with us for your honeymoon we will provide you with a free bottle of wine and
    terry robes for your use while you are with us.

Notes

High Season:
    June 30 to Aug 31 and Dec 22 to Jan 4.

Cottage Prices:
    Prices are per cottage and per period.
    They are not per night nor per person; but, no over-crowding is allowed.

Deposits:
    50% deposit plus $ 300 damage/loss deposit to confirm booking, remaining 50% payable 30 days before start of     rental. Damage deposit only cashed if damage / excessive cleaning.

Service Charges:
    No service charges added to your bill.

Check-in/-out Times:
    Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am.

Start of Rentals:
    Week and weekend rentals start on Fridays. Exception: Summer high season rentals for Maples,
    High Noon, Island View & Sunset start on Saturdays.

Cancellation:
    Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space. If a cancellation is made 28 days prior to your arrival date, you may elect to either receive a refund of your deposit less a $30.00 handling fee, or apply the entire amount of your deposit towards a future stay within the next year. If a cancellation is made less than 28 days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be possible regardless of the reason, unless we get the room rented for your entire original booking dates, in which case you will get a refund of your deposit less a $30.00 handling fee. All cancellations must be communicated in writing (via post or email) with the notification period starting upon our receipt of same.

Refunds:
    No refund will be made for late arrival or early departure.

Pets:
    New, July 2006: Chalet now pet friendly; Other cottages remain pet free

Credit Cards:
    We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

Smoking:
    Smoking is allowed.

Tax Rebate:
    You can claim a refund of the GST/HST paid on most goods you take home with you.
    You can also claim a refund of the GST/HST paid on short-term accommodation, if each accommodation unit was provided to you for less than one month of continuous occupancy; and each receipt shows the number of nights of short-term accomodation.

Examples of Late Checkout / Extra Night Special Offer
Note: Not applicable for High Season or Holiday Long Weekends

1. Say you book for a weekend (not a holiday weekend - Friday & Saturday nights.
    The normal check-in time is 4:00 PM on Friday & the normal check-out time is 10:00 AM Sunday.
    However, when you book, we don't have a booking for the Sunday night.
    At no extra charge, we extend your booking for an extra night and you don’t have to check out until
    10:00 AM on the Monday. This is guaranteed at the time you make a confirmed booking.
    Even if you can’t stay the Sunday night, this lets you laze around on Sunday and then leave whenever you want

2. Say you book for a weekend (not a holiday weekend - Friday & Saturday nights.
    The normal check-in time is 4:00 PM on Friday & the normal check-out time is 10:00 AM Sunday.
    However, when you book we have a booking for the Sunday night; but, have Thursday night open.
    At no extra charge, we extend your booking for Thursday night and you can check in anytime after
    4 pm on Thursday and not check-out until Sunday at 10:00 am. This is guaranteed at the time you
    make a confirmed booking.
    This doesn’t solve the Sunday check-out problem; but, you do get an extra night at no extra charge.

3. Say you book for a mid-week break - when you get 3 nights for the weekend price.
    Let's say for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday nights.
    The normal check-out time would be 10:00 AM on the Thursday.
    However, when you book, we don't have a booking for the Thursday night.
    At no extra charge, we extend your booking for Thursday night and you can check in anytime after
    4 pm on Monday and not check-out until Friday at 10:00 am. This is guaranteed at the time you make
    a confirmed booking.
    Even if you can’t stay the Thursday night, this lets you laze around on Thursday and then leave
    whenever you want.
