Pet Policy - We're a Pet Friendly Resort
We welcome dogs & cats (other pets require prior approval) to our Pet Friendly cottages all year round. There is no extra charge for pets.
Well over 95% of our guests with pets are a joy to have; they are considerate of our other guests and leave the cottage and grounds in immaculate shape. However, there are the few that act otherwise and it is because of them that we have had to develop and enforce a detailed pet policy. We apologize to the 95+% for any inconvenience.
Pet Friendly – Pet Policy
Prior approval is required for more than 2 pets/cottage and/or if your pet is other than a dog or a cat.
All pets are to be flea & tick treated, fully vaccinated, & well behaved (means under control at all times).
Pets are to be on a leash when outside & not to be left alone inside or outside for prolonged periods.
Pets are not allowed on furniture or furnishings at any time.
Droppings (& bones for dogs) are to be picked up and disposed of in rubbish bin.
You are responsible for (and will be charged for) any extra cleaning costs due to messes and/or excess shedded hair. Please clean up after your pet and avoid these extra charges.
Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure that other guests are not disturbed or inconvenienced.
You are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from your pet.
The resort is in a wilderness area and there are local wild animals that might harm your pet. You are responsible for taking the necessary precautions to protect your pet.
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the resort; it’s owners and operators, from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
You have indicated your agreement by bringing your pet to the resort.
We know that some establishments provide additional amenities (i.e. drapes, pet beds); but, most of these have an extra charge for your pet. Please help us to keep our no extra charge approach by bringing such extras with you.
At central property (where Maples, High Noon, Island View & Sunsert are located) pets are not allowed on the main beach or in the main swimming area.
Please refer to the resort property map for the designated pet swimming area (coming soon – email us for the time being).
