2,000 sq ft of Private, Year Round, Luxury ...

The Chalet is one of our 2 luxury 3 bedroom cottages (the other one is Shangri La) and at over 2,000 sq ft is quite large.

The Chalet is quite private as it is situated at one end of our 22 acres and over 700 ft from the next closest cottage.

The Chalet is set back from the lake - something which families with younger children really appreciate - but there are no cottages or buildings between it and the lake.

At the lake, you have your own private dock and sitting area.

Your private complimentary water fleet awaits you at the water - paddle boat, row boat, canoe & kayaks. We supply PFDs (personal flotation devices - commonly known as life savers) for all except very yound children/toddlers (please bring your own as the sizing is so important.).

Just out from the dock is your swimming raft while over at the central swimming area is the water park - AVIVA - water trampoline, Roch, Saturn & SkyTotter.

The Chalet is open year round and in the winter we supply snow shoes for your use while you are with us (no extra charge).

3 Bedrooms /3 Bathrooms; Maximum occupancy of 8

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs while the sofa bed is in the living room (on the ground floor).

The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite 4 piece bath and sliding doors out onto a small balcony.

The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms both have queen size beds.

With the 3 beds plus the sofabed, the maximum occupancy of The Chalet is 8.

The largest bathroom is just off the living room and it has a jacuzzi bathtub.

The 3rd bathroom is just off of the kitchen and it has a shower.

The laundry facilities (stacking washer & dryer) are also just off the kichen.





Comfort and Luxury year round in the Living Room & around the Chalet

The living room is a large L shaped room with a cathedral ceiling and along one wall it has a gas fireplace.

There are electric heaters throughout the cottage for those colder days. In addition, for your comfort, there are a number of ceiling fans, 2 air conditioners (1on each floor) and an air purifier.

In the living room there is a 61'' true HDTV with a home theatre surround sound system and Blu-Ray DVD Player and hooked to a HD satellite service with over 450 TV/radio/music channels.

For your entertainment there is also BUZZ and Karaoke, so you can impress the rest of your party with your singing capabilities.

You want to be comfortable while watching a movie or catching the game on TV, so there are LAZ-Y-BOY sofa, loveseat and chair in addition to the sofabed.




Fully Equipped Modern Kitchen...

Please excuse the fairly bad picture of the kitchen - need to get a new one; not only because of the quality; but also, because this is quite out of date - many changes have been made.

When you walk into the Chalet you enter the large eat-in kitchen which is fully equipped with modern appliances - large and small (i.e. range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker).

Also supplied are all the pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, dishes, etc.

To supplement the main fridge there is a small "drinks" fridge in the wellness spa.

Indoors - your own private spa and so much more ...

The wellness spa is mostly finished in pine and cedar and contains your own private hot tub and sauna.

This large room also acts as a games centre with both air hockey and fussball table games.

There is also a small area to sit and just relax and recharge your batteries. For those that just need to stay in touch WI-FI is available.

Enjoy the outdoors at the resort ...

We have an "all inclusive" pricing approach, so you do not pay extra for the use of any of the resort's facilities.

Use the provided canoes, row boats, cottage kayaks or, pedal boats for fishing (fishing equipment not provided) or exploring the lake and the island. Personal flotation devices (commonly called life jackets) are provided.

Or perhaps you might like relaxing in a double hammock, swimming from the rafts, jumping on the new Aviva water trampoline and playing on the other AVIVA water "toys", playing horseshoes, badminton, beach volleyball or tennis.

Or come in the winter and enjoy cocooning, the winter wonderland, ice fishing or snowshoeing (suppplied at no extra cost).

Much to see and do in the area year round...

Interested in activities such as horseback riding, ATVing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, spa treatments? - we have arranged with local suppliers for discounts on these - see our partner discounts page for more info. There are many arts and crafts and handicrafts places around - 2 within walking distance.

Come in late September or early October and enjoy the wonderful fall colours and the studio tours - Bancroft and Madawaska Valley. Catch the Rally of the Tall Pines in November, the Celtic Festival in Maynooth in May, winter carnivals in February, Maynooth Loggers' Games (Labour Day weekend), Bancroft's RockHound Gemboree (August long weekend) or Wilno's Kashub (Polish) Day in early May.

We recommend a visit to nearby world famous Algonquin Park - the best time to see moose is in the spring; but, it is great at any time of the year.

Consider cocooning or quality time together in the quieter seasons at our much lower non high season rates. It is becoming very popular, so book early in order not to be disappointed.
